I think so - I get that behavior too when one of the girls is on my lap and someone else tries to shove their way on.

I think its an intense emotion indicator because I also get it in the mornings when Blue wants lap snuggles and starts in on her morning "let me tell you about my night" quacks.

Soon as the other ducks got off me it stop it well wired

Just keep an eye on it. If your duckling ends up with a vibrating leg you have a problem. If this happens, take a look at this recent thread.

Hey thanks ill have a look at the thread - it stopped soon as the other ducks got of my lap and went and done there own thing . waddle then got off and joind the other ducks pecking at the grass - standing and everything eles is fine - it just seems to be when i stroke or hold another duck captian will come up vibrate and poke beack at me to say " give me attation " it then stop . When i put all 3 of back in the hutch for a bit - the shaking head at me had stopped .. pretty confuised why it when i stroke the other ducks all at same time.

They do it before they attack lol. My drake does it before he comes after you. My geese also do it before an attack.

lucky i never been attacked my any off mine - hopefully never will :) - i hope it just a phase thing as it only when i stroke my other ducks captian will do it. and then poke me with there beack to stroke them

I've had quite a few drakes and this guy is the only one to ever attack. Unfortunately he is a hard breed to find or I'd rehome him lol. My gander has babies right now so I cant ne mad at him lmao.. he is a protective papa. Yours could be warning off the other ducks.
