Duck acting strange - panting, tired? (I hope)

Hi so I have 5 ducks around the same age as yours and 2 of the females do this same thing and I found it really weird at first however they started mating not long after so I’ve put it down to hormones … they still do it sometimes. But just look happy as and both are laying well. So I think you can be sure that this is normal duck behaviour mine don’t come to food either when in this kind of mood

She ended up being fine, so i will definitely take that into account as a possibility
