I didn't bother it. It was up on that metal wood ash bucket that was already off the ground a bit. I was really hoping that it would be able to eat the egg as I was ready to capture it on camera. This was Day 2 of the snakes attempts at this group of eggs, thus the "goals" edit

I am afraid, like ridiculously afraid. Like I mentioned before, I have a 10 year old daughter and I am trying so hard to make sure my fear doesn't transfer to her. I really don't want her to be ridiculous like her silly mother. She knows I'm afraid but I explain how silly I've been in hopes of helping her. If that makes sense

I have a sister that is the same way. She has a completely irrational fear about snakes. It's over the top. She used to work on a large Christmas tree farm and worked outdoors all the time. Even being exposed to them on a regular basis didn't help. But she can laugh about it, at least.

I have always loved snakes, I got to hold a really gorgeous garter snake when I was a tweenager and that just sealed it for me. Since I raise rabbits and occasionally have a dead baby I'd like to have a snake to feed them to. I can't stand watching the chickens rip the tiny things apart, it literally causes pain.

I don't like anything that stings. Wasps, hornets, etc. I can't say I'm irrational about it like my sister is about snakes, but I avoid them 100%.

The only creepy crawly I put outside are spiders. I appreciate that they eat stinging things.
