What category does building a dedicated duck barn put me in? I'm down on my duck numbers right now, but I just thinned out my herd because I am wanting to solely focus on a single breed. The Duchess of Devonshire is one of my heros and I fully aspire to be her one day only with ducks. I absolutely just love this picture of her and a picture of one of my lovely ladies

I can't wait to get my first call ducks and join the DAA!
I used to have two wild mallards who visited me every day ad would eat out of my hand and follow me everywhere. Every spring they would come. Last spring, Daisy made a nest in the neighbors yard across the street before leaving. Sadly I never saw the ducklings but that must mean that Daisy was a great mother and hid her babies well.
I plan on eventualaving Calls, KCs, WH, Runners, and Swedish. Maybe a few more breeds too.
I'm already planning out their house and run.

It is a Hookbill She's one of this years hatches from my original flock and definitely one of my favorites.
