@Isadora That's such good news for Sassafras! As for Pekins, like you're learning first hand, sometimes they do require a lot more care than other ducks. Have you decided if you're going to process your Pekins or find them a new home? I wish you the very best with whatever you decide

I would process them, but not unless there's a problem. For example, none of the other girls have foot or leg issues and they're laying, so I would keep them for now. The whole thing makes me so sad. They are useful livestock for us, but I love them.
