I’ve never owned a turtle, but I had a chameleon for about six years. I was sad when I lost her a few years ago, but that was a pretty neat pet, I’ll always remember when I looked in the cage one day and I found like twenty little blue spotted eggs.
Chameleons are cute but I don't think I'd want one 😄
My friend has one with half a penis, one half stuck out and atrophied. He's also a jerk, whenever she holds him he bites. He did it once at a table full of people and I could tell she was praying to the Lord for the ability to get him off without smashing him and traumatizing children🤣

I had a really nice one, of course I got a girl, maybe that plays a part in their temperament. She would crawl on my shoulders and shoot her tongue at my ears. :lau

I had a Russian Tortoise named Linus. The little shit was always escaping and he was fast don't let people tell you different.
Freaking had him outside in a play area with a little wooden house and he dug an escape tunnel in the wooden house area like a freaking Alcatraz inmate breaking out of jail.
We never saw him again and not for lack of trying either

Fat Minnie acting all brave, but when Linus walked towards the nasty snatch she ran away, lol. (Can you tell I don't like her much, lol)

Should have named him Houdini. Lol

Chameleons are crazy hard to own so mad props to anyone who does lol. They’re amazing but for experienced keepers, that’s for sure! Especially panthers
That’s what I was told at Petco, I was only 10 when I bought her, but I had great experience with mine. I had a veiled chameleon, the worker recommended her as being good beginner chameleon.

This chameleon talk is really making me want another chameleon now…. I still have the old enclosure.
