DUCK advice needed Please.

I have had two ducks drowned due to the drakes ganging up on them and fighting over them,its not a great experience to have to fish these poor ducks out of their pool,
Its very difficult to get the the right balance of males and females especially when their ducklings and you have to wait for their first quacks

...my conundrum, It appears since our ducks have started free ranging to the pond, geese have left, now a small flock of wild mallards have taken up residence. Surprisingly, they are more tolerant of the ducks....for the moment. Is it dangerous to have them intermingling with these wild ducks? Will they try and mate with them ? Will the other ducks presence stave off pekins strong sex drive? If we get rid of our Pekins , will the remaining two small kc get bullied away by geese? Sadly thinking we will need to get rid our femaleShe just started laying eggs this week, we were so happy! Insight please!
I feel like i'm raising a bunch of teenagers!!

I really don't know exactly what the consequences of wild ducks intermingling with your flock will be. My guess is that it is possible that they could transmit diseases back and forth. I think you need to ask Speceider or Desert Darlene, off the top of my head. Those two I think are very knowledgable and experienced with wild ducks. Try PM'ing them or start a new thread.
Personally I would not get rid of any duck that you wish to keep.
