Yep he will mature don't worryMy little drake will be 4 months old on Sunday. He has 6 girls (see avatar). He must be a slow maturer because he's not being like that at all, in fact he's very sweet and is becoming more tame and will come to me now.
All 6 girls got in the pool last night after I cleaned it and he just stood there and watched them go crazy in the pool. I was getting worried about him because I want fertile eggs but @Miss Lydia assured me he will come around. I guess they all have a different timetable to do things kinda like kids do.
just like kids turning into adults you know what I mean
Leonard has always been my sweetest and most affectionate (more than the girls) until now. His hormones are raging and he is trying to be my boss. I am not tolerating it like @WannaBeHillBilly said before. My little drake will be 4 months old on Sunday. He has 6 girls (see avatar). My Sheldon was a hateful runner drake. He was very mean to all the ducks but never came after me or my dog Steve. Maybe he knew I was meaner than he was!Yes,he will. And he may never challenge you my Runner never has. @DuckyDonna

Drakes are usually slower in their development, they get their mature voice late and their drake-feathers even later. My Buff-Orpington drakeling is the only Spring Duckling left still peeping, everybody else quacks already. And he is a sweety too!My little drake will be 4 months old on Sunday.
