I just love it when they flap those tiny winglets.. Love the videos you have me dreaming of Runner ducklings.. If you can keep your bath room warm I'd have them in the tub of warm water. Just pat dry after and right back under heat lamp. and be sure to video the whole thing..

That's the plan! I think I'm going to give it a try this week, maybe tomorrow. Zoe keeps trying to get into the treat bowl to splash and preen, so I think she's ready

I will OF COURSE be filming and taking pictures whenever it happens!

It's baby kale that I put through a food processor. I ran out of that today, though, so next were going to see how they like peas!

RIDICULOUS

I honestly can't even stand it. They're just these silly little floofy yams with fwappity-stomping feet and useless baby wingalings. Tonight, Zoe picks Ezri's nose, then Imps tries to eat Ezri's foot, then maaaybe it's naptime, buy no! Then everything is exciting and everyone wants to try to fly! For a minute, I thought the twins might try to pik-poke at my phone, but then they veered off to try to read the warning labels printed on the inside wall of the brooder

It is amazing isn't it.

And proves the point about how important it is they get the extra Niacin in the form of brewers yeast or niacin tab. they grow so fast their little legs and brains need the support.

These 3 are perfect examples of what ducklings should look and act like when healthy. It's a blessing to watch them grow and interact with each other,

ATM are they friendly with you? They don't seem the least bit afraid.

Cutest things I've seen in a long time I am saying as I plot to find Runner eggs to put under my consistent Broody Muscovy..
