Duck Breeder

Hello! We have 10 chickens (9 hens, 1 rooster) and 1 Khaki Campbell hen. We had 2 Pekin drakes until last night. We had to give them to a friend because they were trying to mate with the chickens. (We only had 1 drake originally, but a friend had an emergency so we took in the other one) Now that we only have 1 duck, we need to get her some friends. What are some breeders that would sell female ducks specifically? We are interested in more khaki campbells, but are open to other breeds as well. We had looked at ordering from TSC (not our favorite option) but their minimum is 10, and we're only looking for a max of 5. I know that may also be an issue, as most breeders have higher minimums, but if necessary, we may have a friend that would take some extras. Thanks for your help in advance!

I know Metzer sells sexed ducklings and has a small minimum order. You can get as few as only 2-3 from them if you want.

@PirateGirl yeah, I just saw that while looking on Google for breeders. The only issue with them is they have a small order fee on top of shipping, so it's quite pricey. We'll do what we need to do, but just looking for the cheapest option, while still getting healthy ducks! Thank you for the suggestion!

Meyer too has a lower minimum order amount.

I have never found a hatchery without a small order fee if ordering ducks/chicks through the mail. Have you asked in your state thread if there are any breeders near you where you could pick up ducklings in person? This is the only way I know to avoid shipping costs.
