Duck breeders in wisconsin

I pm'd someone in this group. So far everything is under control. I made a big boo boo by taking shell off after he made a bigger opening but after a major amount of help, he looks A LOT better. Praying for a full recovery
P.s. I panicked which is how I got into this mess. This past month was my firat time hatching chicken/duck eggs.

I know what you mean my first hatch (chicks) 4 of 4 were fertile 3 made it to lock down but only 1 hatched. I had no clue what to do! So different from reading about it! Second hatch (guineas) was better. 2 fertile 2 hatched.

I wanted to give everyone an update on my premie duckling, Miracle. He is doing fantastic. Waddling around, being sassy with his chick buddy, Angel. Swimming around in his water dish and yes the chick is starting to think its a duck. This pick is the day after he was born, but I will post an update pic as soon as I can. I want to thank Lacrystol for ALL of your help. I probably would have lost him without you. Have a great evening everyone!

Good morning my fellow wisconsinite duck friends. I am on the lookout for some call ducklings. Looking for 4-6 ducklings. I am from the Shawano area (30 miles west of green bay). Im hoping to find some within a 40-50 mile radius of my home. Also, what is a decent price for call ducks?
My next question is I have some rouen/pekin ducklings due mid June. Im only keeping a few, how much would be a decent price for selling the ducklings at?
Thank you in advance :)

That duck is so cute! As for calls I got mine from a breeder in WI Rapids. I think they were $40 a pair but I don't remember. I had a great experience with the breeder and the ducks were great. But sadly we had a raccoon get them all and some of our big ducks to.

oh no, darn raccoons! We have hawks swarming around lately. Hoping their not after any of my feather babies

Miracle update. First time taking a bath. He loved it! Think he liked splashing Angel more who was curious but not enough to get wet! Lol
I am just thankful that Miracle made it his first week without any problems. He is one tough cookie! :weee

So glad he is ok. I have this one chicken named Bessie. She is our oldest (5) and HATES all the other chickens. She refuses to live with them, she was always sneaking off to live with the ducks. She now lives with them full time and will stand next to the pools as they swim but makes a big fuss if they get her wet. lol I will never understand poultry!
