THere was one that was the same size there but I grabbed the smaller one. So this one is smaller than my other 2

Hmm....You should be able to tell better once they grow more. A little harder at this age.

Thanks! Midnight will be my first runner as spike is my first magpie. I’ve only had mallards as a kid

I’m not super familiar with rouens, however I have had a lot of cayugas and haven’t ever had any ducklings that weren’t all black. I think a little bleeding of lighter color may be normal, but that much lighter color doesn’t look like a Cayuga to me.

Either way- congrats on your new babies! So precious and cute!!!

Not the best pic but an updated one. The one is a mallard and the other is a crested magpie. Not sure if the Black is a Swedish or a mix of breeds.

Update on the boys now that they’re 6 months old. Spike turned out to be a crested magpie and I’m not sure what midnight is still he has a lot of chocolate brown color to him
