I am raising ducks for the first time and was wanting eggs. Well, all but one out of 8 turned out to be drakes, obviously no good for eggs. They are just under 12 months old and I was wondering if they would still be good to butcher or if they get too tough like chickens.
Thanks in advance,
Tim

Mmm, crockpot....<3 I also hear that making duck burgers is a nice way of preparing tough older duck meat! Or you could do a variation on coq au vin, my favorite!
