Hey thank you! I am just looking to get alerts and be able to see live feed if I want.

this system can do both.

How is the install and figuring the system out? Is it user friendly?

this is a wired system but its all plug and play once you run the wires (my house was easy to run the wires) the system has a setup wizard as long as you follow the instructions its quick and easy. if i remember correctly they have 4,8,16 camera systems.
