I have two white pekin ducks that I have had for about three weeks now.... was wandering what your suggestions on bedding?

I use puppy pads when they're little then move to pellet bedding while in the house. The extra wet spots (like around the water) swell up and can be scooped out instead of having to dump it every day.

More pine shavings or more cleanings? I would say about an inch deep of pine shavings is plenty, sometimes I would take out the soiled shavings before I would clean and keep a small bag beside the tub to top off the bedding if it gets stinky or too wet. I love how cheap pine shavings are too! I get a big bag, I think 8 cu. ft. For $7, last about two weeks before I have to restock. But as long as you're cleaning it enough to where no mold/mildew develops then that's good. Keeping it dry is the goal! (Which is hard for ducks).

Ducks have a different poo than chickens, so it's not always the same.

I would say you can never have enough pine, but too much is wasteful and my Ducks like to stretch their wings and if extra pine shavings are in some pieces go AWOL.
