Not sure about spit up, they need lots of water and food available to them 24 hours, they eat and drink alot I gave mine chick starter for first two weeks now 9 weeks old and they eat frozen peas, lettuce watermelon oats dog food brown rice, I try all different things, once a week I mix raw egg wth food for protein, they seem to be thriving
