I got almost the exact same one, and my ducks NEVER went into it. I sawed part of it off and now it’s low to the ground and they go in there when I make them. It might be an ok space for chickens as I’m not familiar with them. But even 1 duck, it will be a muddy mess soon. And the part of the pen, is a pain in the you know what if they lay their eggs there. Or when you need to clean it out. I’m pretty small, but I have to crawl in the poop to get far enough in to get all the straw out. Yuck. I giggle now when I think about how I ordered this. It looks sooooo cute, but definitely not functional for ducks. That’s just my two cents. And you may find it works for you!

If you are referring to getting another duck, look on the state thread here or craigslist - even some farm stores might have ducklings. Of course most want to sell more than one due to the knowing that they are flock animals, but if you explain your situation, you might be able to get just 1. Where did you originally find your duck?

I can check on returning it, I had to pay to have it assembled and not sure if I have the receipt for it. I was suckered in by how cute it was too I have a fair amount of space but not too good with tools

I have a playhouse for my ducks. I found it on craigslist. It was pretty easy to get ready for them. You could even use a dog house - just build a door. A 10x10 dog kennel works well for a run too.
