Duck dilemma (please help)

Well, being a large domestic breed, it can't fly, which means it can't migrate and also can't get away from predators well, so it's not a good idea to let it try to live with wild ducks. It would be best for it if you can either find where it came from (hopefully it just wandered off from a neighbor's house) or if not, catch it and give it to someone who keeps domestic ducks so it can be properly cared for.
Are we sure it's large? Because what I got is, "it's large compared to mallards." Everything's large compared to mallards. And yet my Blue Swedish and Rouens fly just fine.

EDT: So, apparently, it can fly. And I'm agreed on finding it a home with other domestic ducks. Sorry if I came off as persnickety.

Very true; I was just assuming it was large since the OP originally thought it was a goose :) But since it sounds like it can fly, probably not, lol.

Just larger with orange with feet

Is that how it stands? With a more upright position? Or more like this?

How would you describe the sound it makes? Hiss, honk or quack?

I’d think in MN migration would have long taken place I’d feed them through the winter now because I doubt their is much food for them this time of year. At least they can fly your new duck will be at the mercy of hungry predators if you or someone doesn’t protect it. Does your visitor have fleshy caruncles on its face ? If not it maybe a Cayuga
