Duck Dilemma, to Cayuga or not to Cayuga?

So did you add any to your order? (If you already said one way or the other, I missed it.)

So I went to go add one and apparently you can’t. You can either cancel your order or change the ship date, that’s it. I thought about calling and seeing if they could add one to my order but I didn’t want to mess up my ship date I already have(it’s important that it’s close to my hatch date). So I added in the notes that I wouldn’t be mad if a extra female Cayuga jumps in my box I’m sure they won’t, especially cause it’s a small order. If we place an order next spring I’ll be sure to get some, you guys convinced me!

When she starts to lay again after winter I feel like they are darker. I think when she was younger her eggs were darker.

did I get my first Cayuga egg today??

My Cayuga ladies are almost 6 months. I figured they wouldn’t lay until spring but today I got this dark egg. I’ve never gotten a dark one so I’m thinking Cayuga?
