muddy little duckprints on the eggs, yep.
we tried to teach them to wipe their feet before going in the nest but we've been wholly unsuccessful. x(
that's ok, the eggs are still exceptional!

Mine are always yucky too unless I happen to get out there soon after she lays it. I only have one duck right now but I would like some more. Even if I can't sell those, my family can enjoy them... I wonder how they would taste as oven pancakes... I need to try that..

Duck eggs are THE BEST for anything baked; they just make it taste so much richer. YUMMY!
