Duck egg not sure if internal pip...what should I do?!?!

Hey sorry everyone,

So duckling still has not zipped however is chirping. The membrane looks a little dry although the humidity was in the high 70s low 80s. I have since removed the damp towels and it's in the high 60s low 70s.

I will start to assist with the zip in the morning.

Question how can I tell if the yoke has been absorbed?

Pics when I get up.

Duck can take 40+ hours from pip to actual zip, so please don't rush it.
If you absolutely feel the need to assist, do not pull him out of the shell. Check membranes for active blood vessels and try not to rupture any. Once his head unfolds from the egg, you can shine a light down his belly and usually see if any yolk has not been absorbed. Also, a yawning type motion is a sign of more yolk to be absorbed. If he looks like he's yawning, he isn't ready to come out yet.
