Duck egg pipped 27 hours ago

Hi.
One of my duck eggs pipped on day 26, it's not end of dday 27 and It still hasn't hatched and doesn't even look like it will by itself. It pipped slightly and I can see his beak through a tiny gap and a little bit of the membrane. When is it right for me to help it because I don't want it to die and it hasn't done anything for 27 hours now, and by the time I wake up in the morning it will be 38 hours..

Hatching is a long process, it might be absorbing the yolk still. Are you counting the days you set as day one or the second day as day one.

The first day as I put them in incubator at 7am
