Duck egg pipping at wrong end

Any suggestions on lowering humidity? I can't get it to lower regardless of how I close and open the vent.

What incubator do you have?

I read his article and egg was set correctly. Thank you for the feed back and warning. I'll certainly make sure to watch this.

FWIW, I set incubate mine on their sides and see tons of these, and so does another person that has an incubator like mine.

I was saying... I understood... got this...um no... been very stressful but at least it's got air now.... that's the most important thing (I think) for now. I'm battling on how to drop the humidity...

I know how stressful it can be! Let me know what type of incubator you have and I will see if I can offer some advice on how to lower the humidity a little.

Is there condensation? If so, you could try wiping that off, that might lower the humitdy a little.

LIttle to no condensation.. BOTH reservoirs are full because the egg was in with others. One hatched fine. This is number 2. Third one is a day away.

Are you sure it's at 81%? I ask because at 81% I would expect to see some condensation. What it the temperature of the room it's it?

Warm.... I can open the door if that will help
