Duck Egg Storage: Counter or Fridge?

I store them just like chicken eggs...


either counter or fridge...no biggie.

Let's see...duck gestation period is 28 days. Providing eggs don't get warmer than average body temperature of ducks (104-106F), the egg bloom should protect the egg for 28 days without being refrigerated. Anyone see problems with this logic?
