Duck eggs air cell way too small! Help please

So it's been 27 hours now since two of the ducks externally pipped. I haven't seen much progress. It's just a bit of a bump in their shell. I haven't seen any movement or heard any chirping. Should I just peel a little shell away from where they pipped so they can breath?

I'd candle them first and see if they're just resting... look for breathing motions inside the air cell...

Once you open up the shell a bit the membrane will start drying out on them...

How will I know if they are stuck or just resting?

Amount of struggle or a foot in the air cell... they shouldn't be stuck if the pips aren't fully opened up and humidity has dropped drastically...

Ducks take a looooong time... and if it's making yawning motions with its bill without peeping then it's still absorbing yolk... patience is key...
