A fuzzy frizzle

I don't know much about frizzles. What causes the frizzle look? They are both very pretty.

I am not sure what causes the frizzle, maybe like a hair being curly.

I started out without frizzles but I had a blue splash and wanted a blue rooster. I found a lady who had a blue splash frizzle roo. Splash to splash should have just created more splashes. but they created more blue birds, some frizzle, some smooth. you get 50/50 even int the offsprings off spring. they say not to breed frizzle to a frizzle it makes their feathers hard.

Interesting. I've never seen a frizzle. I need to do some research on all of the coloring.

Looks like I really did hear a peep... this guy is coming early IF I didn't kill it

Day 25 and I had no idea I would have an external pip. I sat out weighting to be weighed and laid down for lock down while I was checking all of them

a pip is not ready to hatch. don't help, also remember that 90% of chicks that pip will hatch, it may be 24 hrs or so after the pip. so excited for you!

Thank you so much. That helps put the wait into perspective. I thought a pip meant it was time.

No, no,no! chicks poke the hole just to catch a breath. in the egg they are still absorbing their yoke. and building lungs. If you help them out too soon their intestines will be sticking out and they may bleed too much. gross. I could still try and help you if you did try and "help" the chick out. tricks and stuff.
