Duck Eggs in Lockdown - Peeping but no pips?

That's what I was thinking too, I'd definitely help the wrong ender first because she has been sticking her beak out since like yesterday I believe. I think she is ready... I'll wait for a second opinion though like you suggested.


Wrong end and away from air cell pippers need at least double the time as normal... since their pips are internal AND external in one, you need to add together the usual time from internal pip to external pip to zip before assisting... looks like they're getting good air, just monitor for now... you can slowly start widening their holes by tonight... if they start to turn under the shell, widen the hole so they don't turn away from it and suffocate...
 
I'd also just keep waiting. Sounds like they are getting started now.

Try shining your flashlight from every angle, across the top of the eggs. In the dark works even better. Sometimes the pips are difficult to see, but even the smallest bump will catch your eye if you shine across from different directions.
