Duck eggs

My friend gave me some duck eggs. The mother is a Ancona but the father could be one of 5 other breeds including Muscovy. If these lings are half scovy will that affect incubation time? They are on day 23 and the eggs(2) are not completely dark but are alive.

Yep, if the father was the muscovy, they would take 32 days to hatch.

The offspring would also all be sterile.

muscovy have a 35 incubation so I would guess 28-35 days

Day 25 report. I’m paranoid so I’m going to candle until I see a internal pip then put them in lockdown. The one eggs AC has dropped majorly. The other has not. Eggs are still not completely dark at the bottom.
