WTG Nellie. Vets can get so overly technical....sounds just like bumblefoot to me.

I do not think you are crazy at all...I have a vet working on one of my chickens and another doing house calls ... so noooooooo none of us here think you are the least bit unusual.

Glad you were able to find a vet that new how to care for Nellie... She is lucky to have someone who cares for her. It is nice to know that other people love ducks as much as you do..... my friends and family pretty much think I'm crazy too - so I understand completely.
