Duck feed?

Chicken feed is not ok for ducks. They have different nutritional requirements. You need an all flock feed. I don't think 16 dollars per 40 pounds is more than chicken feed. Of course I am duck biased:love
My adult ducks get nothing but chicken feed, they get a mixture of 20% protein pellets, rolled corn, and scratch. While it might not be ideal, it works for my flock.

So is it better to feed the all flock or the starter chick to new ducklings? I think I am going to have some by the end of the weekend and need to know what to buy for the best naccian and protein.

If the all flock is labeled for starting ducklings that would be best.

Thanks, I have been going around in my head between the Dumote (spelling) and purina brands for a couple of weeks, but the condition I found 4 of my eggs last night has pushed me to make a decision faster than planned.
Dumor?

What condition are you talking about?
:pop

According to best math and how dark my eggs are they are somewhere around day 18 or 20 where my others are on day 14. So looks like they may be hatching earlier than planned.
Are four hatching now? How exciting.

Yes Dumor. I am not good with feeds yet. I am great at dog foods, just not feeds. I will get there though.
No worries. Don't stress about which name brand. Either should be just fine.
