Duck foot injury, help

I accidentally stepped on my ducklings foot, and it started to bruise and swell up in that spot. Is there anything I can do to help it’s foot?

I have to say it happens. My stepson has a young roo that gets kicked and stepped on all the time because he wants to be so close! He's not gotten hurt(yet) I would just keep an eye on it but maybe some of the more experienced folks here will have some advise for you. And

I think he is doing better, the duck hasn’t really complained about it’s foot since it was stepped on. He’s seems to be doing fine, now. Thanks.
