I have a duck that seems fine but her right eye is cloudy and she can't seem to see with it anymore. The left eye is clear and bright but the right is cloudy and I can't see a pupil. Are there some drops I can get? It doesn't really look like an infection so I didn't necessarily want to use Tetramycin. Though I've had good luck with it in the past. She is getting old, about 6 years if I remember right.

She may be developing cataracts. If there is irritation and exudate you might want to try some human eye drops.

Thanks for the quick reply. There are no other symptoms. No irritation or oozing. She looks normal. Just noticed the cloudiness and then when giving them some chopped grapes she didn't see the ones dropped to her left. When talking about human eye drops, do you mean like Clear Eyes or something more medicinal?

Realistically if there is no irritation or dryness I would just observe her. If it progresses to both eyes provide feed and water in a consistent place so that she knows where they are.

Maybe you could post a picture to understand better.
I think that she could be developing cataract too... Be sure she's eating/drinking well 🥰

Here's her good eye.

And here's her bad eye.

This apparently came on slowly. It looks well defined in the pictures but you really have to get pretty close to notice it, and they're not real easy to get that close to. When I'm around she always has her good eye turned toward me. I guess you could say she keeps an eye on me.
Anyone have any suggestions?
These ducks are spoiled rotten and eat better than I do most of the time. She's been a good duck. I'd bet I've gotten a thousand eggs from her over the years. She's 6 years old and just quit laying this summer. Perfectly healthy other than the eye.
