Duck has build a nest, should i remove eggs? (No ducklings wanted)

Definitely: One duck is sitting on the nest:

I'm not sure yet if this is NoName Duck or Katharina. Curiosity is sleeping on her feet right in the picture, Limpy is sitting on the floor and the shadow right from Limpy is from Donald. Leaves Katharina and NoName Duck. Here's a short video:
I think it is Katharina, she has a little white around her bill.
Need to move the DuckyCam a bit to eliminate the blind spot. ;)

You know if your eggs are fertile that after about 4 days the duckling is already starting to grow where you maybe able to see it when candled. If you don't want ducklings this time of year just take all eggs up. I take eggs up daily and mine still lay inside their house unless one has a boo boo and lays outside on the walk way or by their water bucket.

Just had three duck-eggs so far: The first one was slightly larger than an XL-chicken-egg, the two from today are the same size as a large chicken egg. Can you really ruin a cake with too much eggs? - I bake waffles with two eggs, my wife adds four, so far both waffles were delicious, but my wife's fill you up more quickly.
I think that as your ducks get older the eggs will get bigger. Some of mine are over 3 ounces and that will make a difference if you are baking things like cakes and cookies. They can make the batter too runny. Also, another thing I discovered is that it's always best to crack an egg into a dish before adding it to whatever you're making. I've had a few yucky things in some of my eggs plus some blood spot which they say don't really hurt anything but they kinda gross me out.

One new egg today and it was even smaller that the two from yesterday. I've ordered Calcium-Glucconate powder just to be prepared for any egg-crisis…
We usually bake without a recipe, just add milk/water and flour until the batter looks right and bake it.

Gluconates are most easy absorbed into the (human) body, Calcium-Glucconate can be used as an immediate cure if birds are laying thin- or soft-shelled. Basically it works the same as Oyster-Shells but way faster.
Btw: Ferrous-Gluconate can help women overcome chronic iron deficiency…
Thanks for the info. My 4 girls gobble up the oyster shells like little piggies and their shells are very hard so I think that is one thing I won't have to worry about....I hope!
