My sweet hubby just built him a sling box that can hold his feed and water, lol. I will take a pic later. Hope hes comfortable. We used an old hay net for horses

Poor guy. Maybe get rid of the cedar bedding. Cedar gives off fumes that are not good for animals respiratory system.

It interferes with the duck's respiratory system. It can be toxic.
You can cut down on flies in other ways. Pine shavings give off a slight smell, so not as toxic. If you spot clean, hang vanilla air fresheners, or the fly traps that would be better than using cedar bedding.

Great thanks! I have used plain pine in the past so I will go back to that and I usually clean pen twice a day
