Yay! 2 down and one to go!

Awww.  Your down to only 3 from the set of 9?  :barnie   I'm sorry to hear that.   Were those ones also shipped?

Yes they were and originally there were 18 then 9 that actually started growing. All have died off one by one until now I have 3 left and I'm not hopeful for them to live, they have a week to go.

Normally I would doubt my incubate but honestly I'm thinking either the parents are inbred or the person I got them from is very bad at storing eggs.

LovetoFarm also got eggs from this person and she had the same thing happen to her batch.

Ouch. That really sucks. Were these the ones from Salinas, CA? I only ask because I was planning to get eggs from there next. I would like to have birds from different stock for breeding my own.

No actually my eggs from Salinas, CA did awesome. I ordered off of eBay and ordered 4 eggs, she sent 9. None were broken so all went in the incubator. At day 7 I had 4 that were fertile and growing and the other 5 had blood rings (meaning they were fertile but probably damaged enroute). The other 4 all hatched (think I posted pictures??) I have two black/white, one blue/white and one chocolate/white.

Also, I live in FL so it was really risky ordering eggs that far away. I have no doubt that if I was closer to her that all 9 would have survived shipping and hatched. So I would definitely recommend ordering from her!! (Probably going to order more from her in January too!)

The 3 that hatched today came from the other person on eBay that is in NC. He did not ship any extra, only the 3 BUT all 3 hatched!!! So couldn't be happier with that outcome either.

I was going to buy from the person in Arizona that has them on eBay but that person had some sketchy reviews.

Excellent! Thanks for letting me know. I really want some from her too because she has some ducks that lay the blue or green eggs and I'm a sucker for pretty color eggs. hehe. Yeah you posted pics of the first cuties, I just didn't recall those being the ones shipped from CA. (I'm very forgetful
