Ok guys I need ur help my girl duck is laying and I'm so excited but I don't think she will go broody and I didn't no of they were fertile or not so I took one and cracked it open and its very fertile so now I'm going to take three and see if I can hatch them wt do I do first? Do I let them get room temp and then put them in the bator?

Everything I've read says to let them sit and reach room temp overnight before setting them in the incubator.

I candled my duckies again last night and it looks like all 3 are going good.

Didn't get to see any of them kicking around this time, but they look just like all the day 20 pics I can find of duck eggs. Lots of dark area and really good veining in all the areas I can see through. From what I read the veins disappear pretty quickly if they die. So still got all three heading into the home stretch next week.

My duck eggs go into lockdown tomorrow so I figured I'd have a peek with the flashlight and put them into my hatcher tonite, glad I did too. 8/10 piping already =)
