Guess Im going to join the hatchalong... Ive got 11 call duck eggs in lockdown right now.... Internal pips in most of them... They are in a LG styrophome incubator.. THEN I have about 33 more call duck eggs at different stages of development in a cabinet incubator...AND 5 roman tufted goose eggs in the cabinet one also... Not sure on the progress of the goose eggs since they are sooo darn hard to see into....
And on saturday, im setting another bunch of call duck eggs...Ive got 15 now, but by saturday I should have at least 8 more.. if I set them in the evening...And 4 more roman tufted goose eggs are also going in.

If anyone is interested in the eggs I will be putting in the incubator on saturday, I will sell them for $20 for the fifteen I have now, plus whatever they lay up until I ship them... Plus shipping, of course..

Hmmmm...Mrs. Fluffy Puffy...you have Lemon Cuckoo Orps????

ETA: I'm sorry...I know that doesn't have anything to do with hatching ducks, lol.

Yes. Quite a few actually. I have one Lemon boy in with two grown Lemon hens, and then I have a whole bunch of young pullets coming up. Also have my largest LCO boy in with three Jody Hinkle Buffs. I have some split eggs in the incubator, I hope to make the Lemons body type alot better. Right now they look like hatchery stock junk. Hoping to greatly improve on their type in the next couple of years. I have eggs available if you are interested...I'd swap ya for some Black Orpingtons. I am in need of some for a project. All the eggs I set from my Black Orp hen aren't fertile and I need some young Black Orp pullets coming up ASAP. Okay..off topic! Back to ducks!

I am so tempted!! Don't tempt me!! What colors do you have? Will they be mixed colors or are they separated by colors?

Ive got a pair of butterscotches, but shes laying sporadically, so right now, only one of those.

Ive got a trio of magpie girls and a blue bibbed male. This is Rosie..
This is Cow.. Daddy Eugene.. (hes in lots better shape now.. this is during a molt)
I also have another magpie, similar to Cow, but a bit smaller.. Not sure who her eggs are fertilized by.. I didnt buy him..
And I have a pair that the hen is mallard colored, and the boy is a realy nice white.
My pics are coming thru on preview, but not in the actual post.. I think if you look at my profile, you should be able to see some pics of some of my birds..

I just set:

5 random eggs from my flock
5 Holderread's Runners mixed colors (from work)
2 Silkie ducks (from work)
12 Saxony ducks (eBay)
14 Penciled Runners (BYC'er)
7 Rouen ducks (BYC'er)

It's a crammed full incubator.

Second incubator at nine days:

12 Black East Indies ducks (BYC'er)
2 surprise goose (from work)
28 Holderread's Runner (from work)

If I have a good hatch, I'm going to have to move out of my house and let the ducks have it!

My Saxony duck eggs have been settling for the last 24 to 30 hours. I set them tomorrow morning. My Hovabator is up to 63% humidity and I have the temp set a little high at 101 simply because when I put my chicken eggs in last month it took almost 24 hours for the temperature to get up to 99.5. My egg turner is in and working, hygrometer and thermometer all working well.

10 Saxony duck eggs that I got HERE!! Setting 3/23

Oh dang! I guess it's a good thing that I have two full bators! I would be all over those otherwise. If you've seen my list, you already know that I'm a couple weeks away from being overrun by ducklings!

I'm sure they will be fine. If I get 2, I'll be happy.

The Silkie eggs are from a black pair. I think they are from Holderreads. I hear they are low fertility, so I'll have to cross my fingers. The one I have in incubator #1 has nice veining!
