Duck hatching in incubator questions

Another question, my daughter really wants to hold one. How old should the ducklings be before a gentle hold?
She is experienced with chicks, but we have never hatched so they have always been a couple weeks old when we get them.

She can hold one....Just don't play with them too much the first few days till they are really thriving...

No....You made her day.......They won't break if she is gentle and sits on the floor...In a couple of days you can let them swim in shallow warm water...Your Daughter will love that and so will the Ducklings.....

Well day 24 is here last turn of the eggs done. Lockdown begins and hopefully 12 little ducklings by Wednesday feeling anxious!
