Another question, my daughter really wants to hold one. How old should the ducklings be before a gentle hold?
She is experienced with chicks, but we have never hatched so they have always been a couple weeks old when we get them.

...They won't break if she is gentle and sits on the floor...In a couple of days you can let them swim in shallow warm water...Your Daughter will love that and so will the Ducklings.....
