Can't find corn syrup but I do have natural honey. It's orange blossom honey. Would that work?

I'm not sure about honey... isn't honey one of the things that human babies aren't supposed to get? Walmart and all grocery stores will have Karo corn syrup or a generic equivalent. FWIW, it's something that many people people keep in their first aid kits for cats, dogs and horses because simply rubbing it on the gums of a mammal is often enough to help with low blood sugar. Personally, I have used it on foals, kittens and various species of birds. Other options would be 5% dextrose from Tractor Supply or sugar water. Can't find corn syrup but I do have natural honey. Give carefully with a dropper. Just place one drop at a time on the tongue.Ok cool. I'll give her sugar water tonight and get Karo first thing in the morning.

You're welcome!Ok I I'll do that. Thank you so much for your help.![]()
