Duck having seizure PLEASE READ

Very good to have them near, but not together!

Please refresh my memory - the rest of his cohort (same age flock) are outdoors? I think I might start supervised outside visits - always watching, as intense feelings can trigger seizures (I think you know that, just pointing it out). Just base the timing on how he does, how the rest are doing. It does take a while for nerve cells to get straightened out.

2 1/2 days without any apparent seizures! Any advice on when to reintroduce him to outside. I wouldn't keep him out all day because it gets pretty hot here and nasty rain all evening the past week. Most I've had him outside is 30 minutes.

I'd still keep it short and supervised especially if it is hot try mornings and early evening to have his time out. Great news no seizures for 2.5 days

He is the only one I have out of his flock. The other two I have a pekins and are from a different flock. He is a buff.

Okay, so then right now it's this Buff, two Pekins, and now there are a few littler ducklings?

I would start doing closely supervised short outside trips and increase the length of time - always watching to make sure he is okay, and the relationships are okay. Anything more than a little shoving, poking or chasing is too much - everybody gets a time out.

No, just 3 total ducks. 2 Three week old pekin and 1 six week old buff (Howie- the one had seizures)

When I first got the baby's he was not happy and was aggressive. They've never been housed together Bc the babies are still small and Bc of the seizures.

Thanks. Please bear with me . . . I am not 100% right now.

Well, generally when there is a size difference, expect discord. Not always, but it often happens that way. Many people let the ducklings visit supervised, then once they are all about the same size, things smooth out.

I understand :)

Yeah I notice the bigger the babies get the better they seem to do.

Took the babies and Howie out to play in the pool together. They did great. Still no apparent seizures! That's 4 whole days! The 3 have bonded well together in the cage with the separator. The wouldn't leave each other's sides while outside :) warms my heart.
