Thank you!! Not egg bound. I believe she laid her first egg 3 days ago. I don't have proof it was her, but it was in a strange place, and she's never laid before. It was also a bit oddly shaped. Thinking that may what did it. Been keeping her in the dimly lit bathroom ever since. So even though I was really counting on eggs from her, her health comes first and I hope the dark has halted laying for now.

Will check her bottom here in a bit and update!

Just thr very end is still visible. I'm thinking 1-2 more days as a bathtub duck. We will just take it day by day.

Right now I'm giving her a break from thr e-collar. Seeing how she behaves.

I'll try to get updated pics today. It's about back in completely. In fact, it is. Just the very end is visible. It is still there, though. I'm just keeping the honey/vaseline packed in there and keeping her in the dim light of my bathroom. She got to go out last night. Brought her in this morning and soaked her for about 40 minutes. Then did my routine and set her up in the tub for the day.

I think it look pretty good.
In time the scab should fall off. Keeping the honey/vaseline on it for now is a good idea.
