Well. I guess people are funny sometimes.

When we got home from a school talent show last night I found 3 new fluff balls in the incubator. These fluff balls weren't the expected ducklings, they were CHICKS. No wonder they were developing faster.

I have ducks eggs from a wonderful person out of state that I traded eggs with in another incubator. Those ducks eggs are fine and developing as expected. I guess the remaining "other" persons eggs I'll have to watch like a hawk since I have no darned idea what I got stuck with.

None too happy. Her ad is no longer where it was (Not here on BYC) so I can't even call her to let her know I'm in on her ruse either.

Karma is a "you-know-what" and you reap what you sew.

Now, I am still super excited about my REAL ducklings due to hatch next week from my BYC friend in Indiana!

Sorry, had to vent!

But it always stinks when that happens. And such a disappointment! But on the up side, at least they hatched and you didn't get dud eggs
