Put a sheet or blanket over her cage that will help keep her calm. Just like caged birds. And before you pull the sheet off tomorrow be sure to talk to her first so you don’t freak her out when you do it.

haha... well to be honest i'm much more comfortable handling larger animals. i have goats that i've drawn blood on, given shots to and given pills/meds. but... any time a cat is involved i'm like NOOOOOOO. the big animals are stronger but i'm just so afraid to hurt the small ones when i give them shots or fix them up.

Just keep it clean. I'm attaching a video of a recent rescue we got. We think his head was run over by a bicycle on a hike and bike trail. His bill was split in half and his jaw slit up to his ear. If you look at the first video and then the update, you'll see how quickly it heals in one week. We found him after he had started to heal and he had no human intervention so ducks heal pretty well on their own.
