Duck injured her bill. Will/can this heal?

If the injured portion is loose and 'flapping' around, I might be tempted to Crazy Glue it together. I'd keep her as clean as is possible (Yeah, I know she's a duck.) She may need moistened feed to facilitate eating.
I'll moisten some feed.

It is a bit of a flap. I think I have the gorilla glue version of crazy glue... Would that work if it's not the expanding kind?

I also have silicone sealant

I know there is medical super glue but not sure if us peasants can buy it.

Not sure about today's Crazy Glue, but way back when I worked for a living we were approximating and gluing incisions with a product that was identical to the commercial stuff. You need something that will seal rapidly, and need a holder to keep the bird immobilized as you don't want to glue the bill together. If movement in bill is not excessive, it may be best not to attempt gluing given the inexperience with doing so.

It will heal. Ducks bills heal really quick.
That's great to hear! I only have ten and four are drakes so I'm about to cull a couple and really didn't want to have to do a hen.

These are my first ducks. I had so much nonsense going on when they were babies so I couldn't handle them as much as I wanted. So... They're still super afraid of me.

I was trying to spend time near them when I'd let them free range and sit by their waterer, and they got better. But then a couple of weeks ago a dog killed a couple of my chickens so I had to put everyone in bird jail.

...Anyway. She's stressed out not only because she's injured but because she hates me.

I
will hold off on the glue then. She's squirmy as it is.
