Update: Her feet looked better last night and today they are starting to dry up. Wont know the exstent of the damage til to foot heals up more. Vet gave an oral antibiotic in the water for the next 6 days. So we are taken it 1 day at a time.

Update: the infection is drying up. It looks like she will be losing almost all of her one foot and 70% of the other foot. She dosent seem to be in any pain. Im gonna continue to crate her and get a baby pen ready for her and use her as a brood hen. She's a good mom so I'm hoping she will take to teaching babies and caring for them or hatching babies from my old chickens that wont set. She has a good will and is stubborn. It all depends on her mobility and if she wants to raise babies. Im not sure if I can ever let her free range again. Only time will tell.

I'm sorry to hear that she will be losing so much of her feet. Hopefully she will learn to adapt and be a good brood hen for you.

If you have time, please post some photos as she heals. Timeline photos are always helpful, we all can learn something from them.
