We don't have many otters here in Northwest Arkansas, so I was wondering, are they fair game? I know coons, skunks, 'possums, coyotes and such are "kill 'em as you see 'em" (well not LITERALLY but you know) is there any laws stopping someone from taking one down in that situation? Like if a hawk has one of your birds, there's not much you can do because they are protected, but what about otters? Just curios is all

you need to check with your fish and game or DNR if you want to sell the pelts you will have to get a C.I.T.E.S. tag and tag the pelt trapping is much better then hunting it saves the pelt as well
Otter will eat ducks? I don't mean to sound insensitive. I'm really sorry about your ducks. I would be very sad if that happened to one of my birds. I can't believe an otter would go after a duck. *floored*
