LOL - I am surprised no names of Daffy, Donald, Howard (the duck) - love that movie! Our Pekin girls were Thelma and Louise.

I used to have a Daffy but it died as a duckling a week after I got him or her. he was I think a Cayuga

My duck is named peanut! I love her name and I call her nutter butter too lol

Today I have started incubating 6 duck eggs again Most likely, all 6 won't hatch but hopefully a few of them will be successful this time!

So, I'd like to know what I could name my duckies and would love to know what everyone else has called their ducks! <3

Me and my partner currently like the names Sugar and Puddle/Puddles!
These ducks are Cherry Valley ducks (Pekin) which will start yellow then turn white.

I have a whole list I made with my friends! I'll start incubating my first ever batch of 6 duck eggs in 2 days and I'm so excited!

Only just been able to take the photos sorry but here is Egg 1 and Egg 2 The second embryo is a bit smaller than the first one so it may be a bit of a late hatch

Are the eggs still doing well? Can we have an update photo?

I’m getting 2 ducks Thursday that should be hatching today. I’m totally naming one Valentine! Works for Drake or Hen!

I named my ducks after people I loved, but are no longer here.
Gus, Sally & Inez(Nezzie) for my grandparents. Isabelle(Belle) & Winnie for 2 of my favorite Aunts. Peggy , Gertrude, & Lucy after good friends.

One egg is doing great!!! The other egg isn’t as “full” as the other one, I will attach pictures this evening after work to show you what i mean

Egg 1, looking great, candling from the bottom is pitch black in the egg so i didn’t bother taking a picture. Egg2, the yellow colour is candling from the bottom of the egg, not 100% what to think or expect with that, but the air cell is saddled with Egg 2 too from candying at the top
