duck nest got ruined

Duck nest got ruined 3 days before hatch about 5 days ago when do u think she will start laying again I wanna cage her up so she lays inside the barn this time I just don't know how long to wait before she mates and lays again?

A lot will depend upon what breed of duck she is.

She will most likely have to change modes from broody to laying again it may take a few weeks but as far as broody it may take longer. Just keep an eye on her and the drake and Wait.

She is already done being broody, she looks diff not so fluffy now and I don't see any diff I can't tell when she is laying or not so i just kinda wanna catch her when she starts laying so she will go broody were its safe

So in other words you are going to pen her up as soon as she starts to lay in Hopes she will go broody. Are you that sure she will?

Well i know we can't force one to go broody but they do love to sit so Hope it works out and she finally gets her ducklings. At least she'll be safe there.
