So I have 3 Mallard hens, 2 Pekin hens and 2 Khaki hens.
What kind of nest should I make for them or an area for them to make nests at?
Right now, there is a plastic kennel filled with grass hay, took out the door. It's under the shade tarp. No idea if they will use it or what.
Also, my Khaki drake is annoying my 3 Mallard hens, they are 5wks younger than all the others. The Peking hens are always following him and bobbing their heads, but he just thinks they are gross, lol. The two Khaki hens are the same age he is, but he also ignores them. The Pekin drake has no interest in females yet, Pekings are a week older than the Khakis. The Khaki drake even tried to breed in the pond. Is that normal? Hen sure was so not ok with it, he is 2x if not more, larger than the Mallards and he was nearly drowning her.
